Here's a few Reds-related pieces from my collection that are on the
CooperstownExpert.com website. To look at all of the people associated with the Reds who are on the site,
In each of the descriptions, the player's name is highlighted so you can click through to their page if you want to see more.
The first piece is an advance scouting report on
Paul O'Neill. The report is from just 54 games into his big league career. O'Neill seemed amused and almost agitated when he signed it. Notice the inscription.
The next image shows a letter on Reds letterhead from February 17, 1943. It's written to
Bucky Walters about his contract for the upcoming year and from
Hall of Fame executive Warren Giles. Neat to see some behind-the-scenes work there.
The third letter written by
GM Bob Howsm on Reds letterhead congratulating
Warren Spahn on his induction into the Hall.
The Spahn page has some neat stuff on it. The final image shows
Johnny Bench agreeing to be on the
Babe Ruth Foundation Advisory Board. The letter is actually in response to
Brooks Robinson.
