Rob D.Thanks, Doug, that is helpful.
The two ticket stubs in question were part of a large group of ones from the late 1940s and early to mid-50s. They're marked Sunday July 2, with a face value of $1.50 for the lower-reserve location.
A check of perpetual calendars shows that during a 30-year span, July 2 fell on a Sunday in 1939, 1944, 1950, 1961 and 1967. The Indians' 1961 media guide does list ticket prices, and reserve seats were more than $1.50. I know my ticket stubs aren't from 1939 becauee they're the wrong design. So that left 1944 and '50. These don't look like any early to mid-1940s Indians stubs I have, so your info confirms a little bit more that these are from 1950.
July 2, 1950, is the date that Bob Feller notched his 200th career victory. Not a "big-ticket" ticket stub, but definitely worth keeping for the collection.
Thanks again for your help.
