Plus I have a story to tell regarding this 1949 BOWMAN card. It is the very first card in my collection that I had graded.
In 1999, at the Fort Washington Philly Show, I submitted it to PSA to be graded. It came back to me with a tag stating:
"evidence of trimmed".
I spoke to the PSA "honcho", telling him "NO WAY". That this card dates back before anyone thought of "trimming" BB
cards.
He responded: "That's just your opinion..... what counts is our opinion !"
I was mad. At the other end of the showroom was a new Grading Co. (SGC). They graded it, and I was mighty pleased
