I have only missed the IBHOF inductions twice since 1995. I believe both were work related. It is great to see 4 Olympians being inducted this year including the first Kazakh - Klitschko along with Ward, Mayweather and David Moore. I don't know why they called him Davey. He went by David. Here is what I have:

Moore was not the first Olympic boxer from 1952 to die as a result of competition. That would be gold medalist Ed Sanders who died in 1954. He was knocked out in the ring and died 18 hours later. Here is his signature from another 1952 Olympic autograph album.
