Frank WakefieldIn addition to the good information above, Volume 1 of Mr. Lipset's Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards provides great coverage of the 1869 Harper's Woodcuts. They're a great, affordable way of getting some of the 19th century players without spending a lot of money.
If there's one or two that you particularly want to see, then I'll try to get them out and scan one or two for you.
