The question is whether you can call this a '52 Topps #311 Mantle, and whether you are legally obliged to disclose alterations you know about.

There was a #311 Mantle in there someplace, so I think that part is settled. The rest is still at issue.

Is it legal to sell a trimmed card without telling the buyer that the card is trimmed, if you know for a fact that it is?

Is it legal to call a trimmed card NM/MT, if you know that it is trimmed?
