I'm in the horse racing industry and always job hunting. Tracks tend to have high turnover in marketing and PR these days as they tend to pay entry level wages. But it can be a route to other sports.
There are some openings in some of the ancillary businesses such as account wagering and sports betting, I'm sure where the salaries would be better and upside better. If you are in NY some of the bigger companies in the area have offices in NJ.
