The first packs I can truly remember buying were the 1957 Topps. My mother never threw anything away, so probably 70% of my current collection is stuff I bought myself,(and never flipped, hence decent condition) including 3 complete sets of 1963 Fleer because I splurged and asked the local candy store to sell me three complete boxes (a $3.60 investment, I believe) that has paid off quite well.
