This has always been my favorite card from the Diamond Stars set. Before I learned about the "Gas House Gang" or Medwick hitting for the Triple Crown in 37', something about this composition jumped out to me as a kid flipping through
Classic Baseball Cards by Frank Slocum. Acquiring this example from the Uncle Jimmy Collection signed in era correct ink was a no brainer.
