I don't mind stuff from current players or recent players where they can just use something for an inning and hand it to the card company rep.
But chopping old stuff bugs me, and bugs me more all the time.
Since Pannini is Italian, I expect to see cards with the bits the crazy guy hacked off the Pieta a few years ago, or maybe chunks of that tower in Pisa.
Or some Maradona jersy bits with a bit of world cup ball thrown in?
Probably not......
And I've really come to hate the lame idea that it's great because a lot of people who can't afford a jersey or bat can have a chance at a tiny bit of one. THANK YOU AGAIN 99%.
(Higher theft rates have caused the state to make selling used items very difficult. Selling rebuilt used bicycles was a nice little bonus for me, some of which went towards cards.
