Beautiful cards, everyone. The older I get, the more I appreciate 50s/60s/70s cards. They remind me so much of the days when I was growing up. If I didn't own them personally, these cards were on my want list.

Case in point - this 1950 Richie Ashburn. It arrived in yesterday's mail. As a kid back in the early 80s, I would have thought it unattainable. After all, it was over 30 years old.

To put that in perspective, I can almost imagine kids today reverentially gazing at a 1987 Topps Cal Ripken, Jr.
