Jay MillerI'm not sure if it adds anything to this discussion but I have a framed piece with exactly these same four images of Flynn on one piece of black cardboard. My guess is that the four pieces in question were once in a similar state and were removed from the frame and cut into individual "proofs". I can say with certainty that these photos are different than the photos in N173s. Not being a photographic expert I don't know what the differences mean but there definitely are differences. Having said that, my question would be that if these are genuine proofs why make two sets of the same proofs? My guess is that there are more than two sets also. Flynn and Doran seem to be the most common subjects and I know there are more than two copies of certain Doran poses.
