Default Show us your 1941 Play Ball's....let's do a virtual set

Posted By: DMcD

Absolutely love this set. Great artwork and some great ballplayers in defining images. Got some great nicknames (Gunboat Gumbert, Soupy Campbell) and three Dimaggios! Hard to pick a favorite. The Foxx is awesome. Really like the Keller. For some reason my favorite is Indian Bob Johnson, probably because it reminds me of the E90-1 Rebel Oakes "Out of the Box" image.

One of my backburner projects is to load my '41 Play Ball set to my photo site. It is presently a work in progress. A lot of the cards swiveled in the scanner and need to be re-shot so the album is "all kine hemajang" which is Hawaiian for TARFU. Anyway have a look (chance 'em): http://imageevent.com/kawika_o_ka_pakipika/bbbofsfirstclass/1941playball pw=aloha

Steve FDNY: These are my dupes. If you see anything you want let me know and I will help you out. Ask and ye shall receive. (I will move this over to the BST if anyone gets their knickers in a twist).

Um. Wow. Vintage cards, scantily-clad Dutch people, uku-zillion penguins, authentic Polynesian maidens, surfing Obama and more at . .
