I don't know much about the New England Gum Company, but I have seen one other item produced by them. It is a boxing card that was issued in 1910. My guess is that the Matty is probably from around the same time.

I don't own the boxing card, nor do I know who does. If the owner happens to read this message board, please feel free to contact me. I would pay handsomely for the boxing card.
