Default 'Gridiron Greats' Digest

Posted By: David

Other than being a lowly unpaid writer, I have no connections--, but am recommending the new quarterly magazine 'Gridiron Greats.' It is essentially a VCBC version for football-- covering vintage football memorabilia and its history. For those who do judge a book by its cover (You know who you are, you shallow bastards), it is glossy paged, with lots of pics.

For those who wish to subscribe, email the publisher at gridirongreats@aol.com. The yearly subscription is something like $29 (US), but you will have to ask. The publisher/editor, Frank Rose, is a friendly and responsive person, who is doing this whole thing as a labor of love. There will be a website gridirongreats.net, but it is not up yet.

I beleive in supporting these types of alternative, shoestring publications-- or, at least, if one does not support them, one does not have a right to complain about the Tuff Stuff and SMRs of the world.
