Charlie BarokasI spoke with Mike Baker yesterday. I do not want to put any words in his mouth. But the way I understood it from him, they will be back open for business this Monday. I believe they signed or are going to sign a new 3-year lease very shortly.
First and foremost it is his intention and passion to make sure all outstanding cards/packs/autos are graded or immediately returned to customers. I know Mike has already reached out to many concerned customers.
Secondly, Mike intends to square up with any and all creditors to press forward with a clean balance sheet.
Mike Baker is a winner. He has undoublty made some mistakes. But he intends to work extremely hard to make things right as quickly as possible.
GAI might not survive but Baker is commited to giving it one last shot. Don't count him and GAI out just yet.
