I was thrilled today when the mailman got me one program closer to my goal of picking up programs of all the Orioles minor league affiliates.
The Stockton Ports played in the California League and were affiliated with the Orioles from 1959-1971. The Ports were also affiliated with the Vancouver Mounties, the Orioles AAA farm team, in 1956 and 1957. Due to very poor attendance, programs and just about anything from the Ports are hard to find. Luckily, there is little demand, so when items show up, they aren't too pricey.

It goes nicely with the Giants & Indians 1964 spring training exhibition program played in Stockton that I already had.

The 1964 Stockton Ports finished 69-70. A few notable players included Ed Barnowski, Steve Dalkowski and Bobby Floyd. The Ports averaged about 400 fans per game, which was actually one of the better years for them.
FYI - I am still looking for Stockton Ports programs from 1956, 1959, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1970 and 1971.
