but if there is an interested buyer, wouldn't there be some premium afforded by someone who wouldn't want to take the time or added expense (shipping) of assembling the subset or collection piece by piece?
perhaps not. You would need to know what kind of subsets have the demand that would result in a premium...
Certainly, yes, the simple sum of the parts priced by VCP would be one answer...but would most folks demand a discount on the total package or accept a sum of the parts valuation?
