I recently acquired the old uniform pictured below (I am sorry for the poor pictures. I will try to get better pics by the weekend.), and I was wondering if any one might be able to provie an approximate age for this uniform? It was manufactured by Pepperell Fabrics in Boston. Is there a good way to approximately date uniformas based on style, numbering, labels, etc? There is a slight possibility that this is a Boston College Eagles uniform from the mid 1930s, but I am only basing that on other items from the same consignor at the antique auction I acquired this piece from. I will check the web and local MA. libraries (and BC if I ever get into the city) to see if they have photos of the BC baseball team from the mid 1930s, but I figured I would try this borad as well. Please feel free to provide any additional information about vintage uniforms (or this uniform in particular) and please post your own (especially if you have questions about it)!
