If your going to buy raw cards from auction houses, just assume their grading is just hype, and buy accordingly. It's pretty much like when I go to a card show and the store owner says a card is near mint. When you look at the card you know it isn't so you buy or don't buy accordingly...

Perhaps you haggle about the price...or you let it go.

I doubt if you will ever get the auction houses and the grading companies to agree on anything. They are 2 different types of businesses. Auction Houses are into hype...the grading company is more of any assembly-line type of business.
