Default Strange Pitching Windups:

Of course, most pitchers now use very abbreviated windups if any at all, but there are still a few, even relievers' one starting from the stretch that keep me scratching my head.

For starting pitchers, I have always thought Kershaw's was weird...not that it's not very, very effective...just an odd-duck look to it.

And then there's Kenley Jansen, whose strange approach I did not notice until he signed with the Braves and I get to see him so often.

What in the world?

I'd love to hear the 'back-story' on how all this became his 'routine'.
