Heritage & PSA Giving Away Black Swamp Promo Set to VIPs
Per the National Convention's website...
Breaking News VIPs to Receive Set of “Black Swamp Find” Promos Heritage Auctions has announced that they are creating a set of 4 promotional cards to commemorate the “world’s greatest attic find” in Defiance, Ohio. Nicknamed the “Swamp Find”, the actual cards will be part of a display at both the Heritage Auctions and PSA Booths at the 33rd National. Estimate on the value of the entire find of 700+ cards is in excess of $3,000,000. Some of these cards will be sold at Heritage’s Auction on Thursday, August 2 at Camden Yards. The promotional cards are created in the same style as the pristine E-98 cards (see images below), which shocked the collectibles world. This set of 4 cards will include Hall of Famers Connie Mack, Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb and Cy Young. The cards will be encased in plastic and authenticated by PSA. Heritage has made a limited number of these cards available to the National. We are pleased to announce that each paid SUPERVIP/VIP will receive a complete set of the four cards. Because of the limited number of these sets available, we expect that VIP/SUPERVIP packages will sell out. Don’t get shut out; purchase your SUPERVIP/VIP PACKAGE now! |

I said, "Maybe Legendary Auctions will produce a reprint set of these with their company logo, contacts, auction schedule on the back, etc,...". I was referring to the E107 set, not these, but close enough.

Reassures those collectors who are afraid of getting a fake reprint.
You can never be too careful.
