Purely Hypothetical Question
Just a product of the imagination of the poster. Not based on any past or current circumstances.
Do you prefer a 0-0 game in the ninth or a 9-9 game in the ninth?

I fear the Indians of Cleveland. This is baseball at its finest IMO.

12 pitching changes already in the 10-9 game. No thanks. Yes there were more in the 1-0 but only because it went to 15.

Marichal and Spahn
16 innings with NO pitching changes, also 1-0.

If it had ended with a play at the plate it would have been the perfect game.

I believe Mays' home run was the winning run in the bottom of the 16th. Did he not touch home plate before walking off?

I am so glad the Manfred Mann is not in effect for the postseason.
I enjoy both scenarios, but a 0-0 seems more nerve-wracking. Maybe because if your team has already scored 9, another run or two is right around the corner, lol.

39 strikeouts, thrown by guys that bore no resemblance to Spahn or Marichal. Less than one man left on base per inning, not for each team but combined. And somewhere--who am I kidding, most everywhere-- the analytics guys are patting themselves on the back saying see, if you wanna win in this game you have to hit the long ball.
Oh, how I wish yesterday's Tampa-Cleveland game was only hypothetical.

Of course, that's not to say a 0-0 game in the 9th cannot be fantastically entertaining when actual baseball is played:
https://www.baseball-reference.com/b...99110270.shtml So too a game that is 9-9 in the 9th: https://www.baseball-reference.com/b...96010130.shtml I would find either compelling, so long as my team won.
