This jersey started as a college jersey and was converted by expert Bill Henderson at The Dream Shop to a replica Mickey Mantle jersey.


This jersey is made from the same flannel pinstripe material as Mantle wore in the early 1960s and is the exact same size as Mantle wore (44).


Because this is a college jersey - it is the same length as the professional jerseys from that era. Note the armpit hole vents that are stitched into the flannel - it’s all there.


The NY and 7 were taken directly from templates created by Bill Henderson when he restored an original Mantle game worn jersey in advance of an auction - so this jersey is identical to what Mantle would have worn and much more accurate than the modern Mitchell&Ness remakes.

Many of you know Bill’s work - it’s impeccable…..she makes a great display piece for a Mantle collection….
