I recently discovered that two different versions of 1987 wax wrappers (putting aside different ads and gloss card lists) -
1 version features a commodity code in blue which reads 0-362-94-01-7. The other features a different code, 0-362-94-02-7, printed in green. As far as I know there are no corresponding differences in box or case codes. Does anyone know what these different codes signify in terms of packaging, distribution, point of sale, etc.? Could it have something to do with the fact certain cases were specially shipped for sale, by box, at club stores like Sam's? As I said, I am not aware of any corresponding differences in box codes which would likely also be present if this were the case. |
