My wife's grandfather was in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization as well as several PCL teams in the '20s - '30s. He was a pitcher who blew out his elbow which ended his career. His name was Homer Hurst. Are there any cards/pictures that anyone knows of. |

in 1926 and 1929-32 Zeenuts. The PCL Encyclopedia shows a Robert C. Hurst with Oakland 1929-92, but no Hurst at all in 1926. |
