The I's have it
I thought it may be interesting to see how many iDevices we each have in our homes.
You can expand it beyond apple true ipods etc to include whatever electronic devices you would like.... "I" will get it started...i will limit mine to those that use my in house network... 4 iPods 2 iPads 1 iPhone (next week) 1 old Mac G3 2 Dell desktops 1 Sony laptop A couple smartphones Xbox 360 Wii console Scary for a family of 4, eh??

Had both of these myself, loved the plus. Also loved my color classic and performa 550!

No actual I devices. My wife does have a smartphone of some sort.
I've also got an assortment of old computers/videogames, but I don't have any setup. Most are cheap ones. Channel F Atari 2600 Vectrex atari 5200 Odyessy 2 TRS-80 mod 3 Commodore 64 But there are some electronic oddities. Someone I knew was in medical equipment sales. It was headed to the curb when they did the estate cleanout, and I have a weakness for weird old electronic/electrical stuff.

I haven't tried it. First, I don't have the paddles, and I'm not sure how much voltage it puts out.
Someday I'll go at it with the voltmeter and see what it does. It's one of the few electrical things I'm a bit intimidated by, mostly because it's meant to mess with a persons heart rythm. Household current isn't a concern, I'm careful but not worried. And I've worked on 240v and 480v before. I suspect the defibrilator puts out around 200+ with a fair bit of current capacity, maybe more. Enough to make me very cautious. The 1800's detonator box (Think Wile E Coyote) does work, puts out about 65volts without a very agressive push on the plunger. Steve B |
