Saying Bye to the Ted:
My brother and I had great seats to see a superb pitchers' duel between Julio Teheran and Justin Verlander.
All season, they have been 'pulling down' 'games left numbers' off the outfield wall- lots of different celebrities and former players doing the honors. I had hoped and thought it would be very appropriate for Captain Outrageous himself to pull down the '1', but learned from those around us who were guessing who the 'mystery puller' would be, that Ted is in frail health these days...very sad...he did a LOT for the Braves and the city of Atlanta. Otherwise, a wonderful visit. - It would have been perfect if Tech had won on Saturday (we attended that one as well) .

Watched it on TV, and like you was hoping it would be Ted to close it out. Helluva game by Teheran and it was apropo that Freeman sac flied in the only run.
I hope we can leave the curse of the Ted behind and go back to being a consistent playoff team at Suntrust. That being said, the win cost us 3 spots in the draft!!!!
