Another top notch seller. There should be no problems with their auctions. Bid with confidence.

I've never received a Christmas card from them, but all my transactions with Yorktown have been top-shelf.

I've won some nice stuff from them and since they're in Virginia they have to be good (I also live in Virginia).

I'll throw my hat in the air with a big "yee-haw" to this seller as well.

I have had several transactions and always fast and trouble-free!

I have been contacted twice since I posted this by board members saying that they believe yorktownsc trims/doctors his cards.

I have bought a couple nice, relatively inexpensive cards from this seller in the past

Have you had any dealings with this seller? good, bad?

Jason - I have not - they posted some nice stuff on ebay last night that I was thinking about but wanted the board opinion first.

I had an issue with them a couple of years ago. To their credit, they resolved it to my ssatisfaction. Thanks. FWIW, since that time, I have bought from them again with no problems. it is good to know when there is an issue, they are still stand-up guys.

cmoking - was your issue regarding a trimmed card or a transactional issue?

Nothing but (many) positive experiences. I have met him also (Bill Fisher, I believe). He's a nice, relatively soft-spoken guy.
Every card I have purchased from him was graded (in fact I only recall him selling graded cards). Graded cards and trimming etc. are not exactly mutually exclusive but it does change the way I would consider that sort of rumour about a seller.
