Default Question about strip cards

Does an uncut strip typically carry a premium over the value of the individual cards in the strip? Does it matter if the strip itself is not complete (e.g., there are three uncut cards from what originally was a 6-card strip).

Thanks!

It depends. Generally yes an uncut strip would be worth more than it would be in individual cards. However, in today's slab game hobby, a high grade strip card (to me it's crazy) can sell for more than the entire strip. I see W565 sheets go for very little and some individual cards (especially Gehrig) I see go for more than full sheets. Personally I would pay more for uncut cards. (and don't make me show another Kershaw video )

Thanks Leon. I picked this up earlier tonight. Not a beauty queen, but I thought it was a neat piece.

To me those would be a little better than having them individually. Nice pick up.

An old hobby rule of thumb I used to go by was an uncut panel or sheet was worth 2x the sum of the singles.
