Default 1967 Topps Punchouts Bob Gibson - Fact or Fiction?

Does the 1967 Topps Punchouts Bob Gibson exist? My SCD catalog says that it does. I have been told that it is a myth and that the card does not exist. I am looking for all of the Cardinals in this set and was wondering if this card exists.

Anybody have any extra Cardinals, by the way?

Thanks for the input.

Sorry, I do not have those. I haven't gotten that far into oddball stuff. I am trying to finish up more of the test issues and inserts before I branch off into other oddball sets.

Default 1967 Punch Outs

I hope Larry is right on the Gibson, and on the Campaneris, Grote, McMillan and B Robinson as well.

Larry--did you see that Bob updated the 2011 Catalog to show the 68 Plaks of Peters, F Robinson, Aaron, Drysdale and Mays as doubtful ?

Default plaks

hi
yes have the book
99.9999% they do not exist
i dont know if i showed u the pattern
there are 12 different triple plaks available
'which makes perfect sense...should be 12 single prints and 12 doubles
on the 12 however there are 7 singles 7 doubles and 5 triples
looks like the 5 triples should have been 5 doubles and 5 singles,
(the 5 missing singles)

I thought they were pulling Grote from the big book listing. Have to check to see if they did in the new book.

I thought you might have those, Randy!

I don't guess those are extras, are they?

OK, Grote is still listed but noted as possibly non-existent. I sent that one to Bob Lemke originally as it appeared in an ad with many other punchouts that was in SCD years ago but I suspect it was a typo for Groat.

Sorry Frank, no extras. Cepeda is not hard to find though. There are usually 1 or two on Ebay.

Can anyone confirm to me the inclusion of Roy McMillan in any of the lineups? Not as a Captain, just in the lineups. Thanks!

By the way, Randy - I got the Brock and the Flood from Al back a few weeks ago. Now, I just need the McCarver and Cepeda.
