Is this Comiskey auto a secretarial?
Dealer at this week's show has this piece. Is it a secretarial? Thank you.

Looks like a Harry Grabiner "secretarial" signature to me, but I dont have my files with me right now to double check.

Genuine Comiskeys that I have seen all have the "bulls-eye" looking "C" like this one:

Harry Grabiner used to sign for him a lot and I am sure that is who is "author" of that one.
Also, not ALL real Comiskeys have the "bullseye" as he sometimes signed with the first "C" similar to the last one, but that is when his signatures were late in life. Last edited by prewarsports; 01-09-2013 at 09:01 PM. |
