I just joined the Net54 forums about 2 weeks ago, and I have really enjoyed reading many of the postings, particularly in the Pre-WWII area. My name is Andrew and my user ID is argpdt. Here is a brief introduction to my card collecting history.

I am a Dodgers, Angels, and Rams fan who has been collecting baseball and football cards since the late 1970's, with a break from 1988-1995. I started collecting Pre-WWII vintage baseball cards about 3 or 4 years ago, with the goal of obtaining at least one playing days card of every Hall of Fame player who has had cards issued after 1900. I have 22 HOF players left to obtain, including Honus Wagner and Ty Cobb. I am including images of 3 of my favorites. In addition to Pre-WWII cards, I also like to build football and baseball sets and in my current project I am over half way to the 1965 Topps baseball set. I look forward to contributing to future interesting forum discussions and getting to know the members of this web community.
