Need Help with Cabinet Photo ID - Photos In Comments

I picked up this large cabinet photo a year or so ago and haven�t been able to identify the team. I live in Virginia, and the V on the jersey may very well be a Virginia team as it came from an elderly lady who�s husband had it.

Things I know:

Photo is 1889
Team is �Semi-Pro�
Record was 11-1
Several names �Burthe, Gibson, Potts, Reed...�
