L.A. Area Card Show August 26-28
With Leon's permission (thanks, Leon) I wanted to let everyone know that there is an actual card show in LA at the end of August. Unlike the other abortive attempts at shows in the last few years, I know this show is happening since its sponsor is my LCS, Burbank Sports Cards. It is at the Burbank Airport Marriott from the 26th-28th. I will be set up there with all manner of esoteric sports and nonsports cards and crapola. The facility is first-rate; I've been there for non-sports events. Tons of parking, food of all levels of cost in the hotel or across the street and up the block in a restaurant center adjacent to the airport, you can fly in and walk over from the airport (ten minute stroll) or use the Marriott's free shuttle.
