Football example, but it's generalizable. I was looking at RCs of the Vikings' young star receiver Justin Jefferson, and checked the pop report for his Panini Prizm cards, an issue I was familiar with.
Total number of cards from the SET that have been graded: 195,000+. Yep. Number of variations of the Jefferson card, NOT counting the various autograph versions: 41.
