Default OT - "best" player to hit into a triple play?

With the score tied and two on, Ohtani just hit into a triple play.

He's the reigning (in blood, haha) MVP and in the running for the next one.

Arguably the best player in baseball at this moment (or at least the moment before the TP).

Has anybody with similar credentials ever hit into a triple play?

Doug

And if there is a player who was "better", did that guy hit a no doubt HR in his next AB?

Babe Ruth hit into one triple play in his career, on September 11, 1931. I'd say he was a pretty good player. But he didn't hit a HR in his next at bat, sorry to say.
