Default RIP Kit Kiefer; Top 100 c.1990, BBCM and other titles

Not sure if any of you all still knew Kit Kiefer, but he passed away the end of last week. Kit wrote for Baseball Card Magazine years ago and coauthored the book 100 Great Baseball Cards c. 1990.

Kit was one hell of a guy, we were friends in the culinary world and I knew Kit for years before I learned from this board, that he was well known in the card game years ago. From reading some of his old stuff, he carried fun and weirdness in the card game just as he did in the culinary world. Kit was a legend in the food business, and it sounds from some old posts that he had a great following for his card writings as well.

I’ve got a lot of really fun Kit stories and lots of great memories, just wanted to let you all know, as some of the old timers might remember Kit.

Thanks,
Bob
