1910-11 Sporting Life (M116) Red Murray NY Giants glue reside and small paper loss on reverse as pictured.
According to popular myth, Murray is remembered for being struck by lightning in a 1914 game. Murray, playing in the outfield for the New York Giants, caught a fly ball which would prove to be the final out of a 21 inning game on July 17, 1914. Immediately after catching the ball Murray was struck by lightning and rendered unconscious, however, he managed to hold on to the ball, ending the game. PayPal friends/family. Shipping is $1 in a plain white envelope. In the event the envelope is lost in the mail, I’ll refund 1/2 the purchase amount to the buyer. This just seems fair to me. I can guarantee I will drop the envelope in the mail. Rather than mail a plain white envelope at buyers risk, we can share the risk. I combine shipping.
