NOW WITH EXCITING 3RD PREWAR CARD OPTION! - see post #8 for details
Something a little different. I have seven cards up for auction, which will be in a medium size Priority Mail box in seven toploader sleeves. The bonus is that you will also get approximately 494 other toploader sleeves, and the seven cards in their toploaders will be somewhere in the rows of toploaders within the box. 5 of the 7 cards are Hall of Famers, one from each decade ranging from the 1950's to the 1980's (there are two Hall of Famers from the 1970's), with the 6th and 7th cards from PreWW2. The 70's and 80's cards are in nice shape, with the 50's and 60's cards being in rougher shape, and the two Prewar cards are in lower condition, as is evident with the visible one missing the chunk as shown in the scan (looks decent otherwise). The other prewar card is hiding since he is embarrassed being such a 98lb weakling. The 500 or so toploaders are used but in general are in pretty decent shape...I would say at least 80% look fairly new. I did weed out the rougher ones, might have missed a few. There are some, not many, included penny sleeves. Please do not bid on this lot if you expect it to solve your glaring lack of penny sleeves issue. Your chance to have a little scavenger hunt fun, and bolster your card storage supplies at the same time Minimum opening bid is $1 for this, and the bidding increment should be in whole dollars. Bids with a time stamp of 8:00 pm CST on closing night or earlier are valid, anything after that is considered an unsuccessful bid. Closing night is Sunday 8/31. The shipping for this will be $19.00, and because it is in a Priority Mail box you should receive it lickety-split. Paypal or personal check accepted. Good Luck! A bump to indicate you now have a chance, with a winning bid of $20 or more, for me to slip you a mickey. No, not something in your drink, nor a Mickey Mantle card, but a 3rd prewar card into a toploader and sticking it within a sea of empty toploaders. In my world, that is slipping you a mickey.
Just something to consider when considering whether to bid extravagantly on this lot of a lot of plastic and a bit of cardboard. Auction ends 8pm CST sharp tomorrow. Don't be that fellow who places his bid at 8:01. Brian |
