Default Ribbon Holder

Would anyone know if they make holders for these sports ribbons?

This may be the first ribbon I've ever bought...the art had me...but then I started looking into the association...turns out the Northwestern Amateur Boating Association i.e. NWABA was essentially the beginning of organized rowing by a governing body in the mid-west...Rowing in America mostly started on the eastern seaboard...

That's very cool, Carlton. I don't know about a specific holder but I usually cut a side off of a large toploader, such as an 8 x 10 one. Then it's easy to insert it in it without damage. I do that for large, very fragile items. I am sure there is a better solution but this one works for me often. And they are customizable, so to speak.

You didn't give the dimensions. If it doesn't fit in a CS IV, then do what Leon suggests.
Maybe SGC or Beckett would grade it.

The only thing about a card saver, unless it's one i don't know of, you would need to push the silk down, a little, in a tight'ish plastic holder. I am always afraid of more fraying.

Hasn't arrived...listing didn't give dimensions...I assume there is a standard size of most ribbons...

Thanks Leon...

As many antique sports ribbons as there are...I was hoping for a standard holder...they don't look like the easiest thing to display...and this rowing one is too nice not to...Once I get it and get the dimensions maybe I can find a rigid lucite screw-down holder...

You may want to explore Riker cases. Their website has many different dimensions.
