He was probably in the service a year after this letter as written, 11 months to the day before Pearly Harbor.

Love to see anything Newark Bears. Dr. Bobby is a plus. Here he is on a sheet , one of a dozen or so I bought from a collector that was tracking down members of the 1946 Team. Yogi Berra Allie Clark etc.
Below is a letter from George Weiss from 1939, I have always liked any items with the Centennial emblem. |
