If the VG is because of corner wear with no creases, I'd estimate the value at $175-225. That said it would probably sell on ebay for $450-500 if uffda and tobacco-r-us got in to one of their typical T207 bidding wars.

When Adam's goes fishin, he uses to whom it may concern bait.

1. Which T206 Matty is he talkin about, there are three?

2. Only interested in certain grading companies for trade.
Thus forgetting that B4 the plastic entombers there were collectors that were able to grade their cards through the practice of handling a multitude of them.
When I have to, I crack slabs to place the cards in my collection.
Which would automatically cancel me out here at Slab World.

Every day in every way, we are losing more and more the art of being straight forward and direct.

BTW, out of curiosity, and only if the winner wants to raise their hand.
Harvey wants to know - who got the Woodburn?

I resent the implication that I am dishonest.

Since I had a number of inquiries on the card, IMHO the fairest way to handle it was to post it on our board and send it to the 1st member who responded. Had it been you, you'd have gotten the card. I didn't have to offer it here at all; ebay beckons on something like this...if I wanted to be a jerk and wring out maximum auction results for it, I'd have listed it there and let all the sharks in the sea have a tear at it. Also, you will note from the first part of the string that Tbob already opined that the card was worth less than I wanted for it, so I didn't see much point to offering it to him directly. I got a couple of emailed value opinions from folks here who were kind enough to share their expertise. The range of views was $225-$300, so I put it at the higher end of the spectrum given the hots for T207s right now, and alternatively offered it for a card I wanted, and let the first reader have it. BTW, I was after any Matty in trade; I am well aware there are a variety but I have none.

As far as grading, etc., goes, I wanted card slabbed in trade because the rest of my T206s are slabbed and if I can have the card w/o having to send it in and wait a month to get it back, why not ask for it that way?

Never did that ever come into play.

Let me do some of you a favor.
I'll just read this board.
Too many Thin Skins, and void of a sense of humor.

From Harvey and me.
Enjoy Slab World while the pseudo credibility exists.
