Default M104 and M105 Backs

Posted By: ChiSoxFan

I used to post and view here a few years back (as JamesWalkerJr), and am now getting back into vintage cards.

A few years back, there was a discussion about which backs were available on M104's and M105's. Initially, the thought was all backs for both sets. However just before I stopped viewing the threads here, some people thought the backs were set specific.

Was this ever confirmed?

As a side note, if anyone has a White Sox checklist from both sets, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
ChiSoxFan

Default M104 and M105 Backs

The backs are set specific-- off the top of my head 7 are found in both m101-4 and m101-5 (including blank). Look for an article in Old Cardboard this year with more particulars.

There are 20 ChiSox in the two sets. All can be found in each, including manager Rowland and President Comiskey (spelled Comisky in m101-5), and including four of the eight men out (Gandil appears for Cleveland). Here they are:

BENZ, JOE
CICOTTE, EDDIE
COLLINS, "SHAUNO"
COLLINS, EDDIE
COMISKEY, CHARLES (COMISKY)
FABER, URBAN
FELSCH, "HAP"
FOURNIER, JACQUES
JACKSON, JOE
LAPP, JACK
LEIBOLD, "NEMO"
MORIARTY, GEO.
MURPHY, ED.
ROWLAND, CLARENCE
RUSSELL, REB
SCHALK, RAY
SCOTT, JIM
WALSH, ED.
WEAVER, BUCK
WOLFGANG, "MEL"
