I think the artist was a tad off with his rendition of Collins. Show some goofy images in your collection. |

Chiprop - I know you didn't mean anything by it, but the A's mascot, last name Van Zeldt (first name escapes me at the moment), was a yong kid with serious congenital deformities that the A's took in as their mascot. |

Your correct. I had no idea. I meant no disrespect, just found the image odd. |

I'm not too sure what is happening in these Zeenut photos-- the players seem to be missing appendages (or something)... |

Dan... Cool shot of Dazzy. I wonder if he is skipping a rock ? Is that the Gulf Coast or the banks of the Ole Man ? |

can there be more goofy than Babe Ruth pitching a football right handed? |

Great card, Leon. It looks like they branded that right-handed American football quarterback not only with Babe's name, but they also gave him the All America City logo on his chest. How thoughtful of them. |

I'm sure Monte Cross' hair-do was quite fashionable 100+ years ago and someone thought Ban Johnson was a nice friendly guy (maybe not)... But these guys look funny to me now... |

This is from a 1911 Cle AL spring training photo - that's Fred Harkness sitting in the front in "white face" - why I don't know - perhaps some kind of hazing. I have seen this in other spring training team photos. |
