Ok, not all of them, in fact Yankee fans tend to know both their baseball and their history. But this guy plays down to the stereotype we usually imagine.

And really, a couple questions. 1) Who the Heck falls asleep at a baseball game? (Apologies to fans who are actually narcoleptic) 2) What sort of Yankees fan wouldn't play this into a couple possibly paid appearances on talk shows where he could use the opportunity to say it was because the Red Sox were so boring? I'm pretty sure that's how a Boston fan would handle it And yes, I know the phrasing could be taken two ways I figured I'd leave it as-is since the Sox haven't been all that amazing this year.Steve B |
