A few years ago off the BST section here, I bought a Boone Family signed ball which included Ray on the sweet-spot, Brett on the north panel and Bob on the south panel.

I always wanted to add Aaron to it but really wasn't sure how to obtain it. A couple times I wrote the Yankees PR Dept. and asked if there was a way to meet him prior to a game in Baltimore (where I have a Sunday season ticket plan) to no avail. For some reason, I decided to write them again prior to the Yanks trip into Baltimore in July (directed to a different dept. this time), but the game came & went with no reply... BUT, the good news was that I received an email about a week after the game from someone on their office staff that they read my letter & they were sure that Aaron would love to sign the ball and to simply send it to them (which I did)....I just got it back a few days ago: ![]() ![]() While not being a Yankees fan per se, I'll always remember their generosity in helping me out. |

Lucky you found a way to get that accomplished!

Aaron used to be a better TTM signer but seems to have shut it down a few years back. Bret was never the most responsive. Bob has been hot and cold over the years. I know that Bob is very nice IP but am not sure about the boys. They're a little too recent for me to have kept tabs on. Ray signed an index card for me when I was a kid. I've held on to it all these years. Sent it to Bob last year, mentioning that I hoped to have his boys eventually sign it, too. He thankfully signed and returned it, but that was all. I have a few father/son/etc. multi signed pieces. Have always liked that sort of thing. Last edited by BillyCoxDodgers3B; 08-17-2024 at 11:52 AM. |
