Default Wilt Chamberlain rookie card

What do you suppose happened here? Corners look like they would have kept the card at a 6 anyway.

Exclamation

As a graduate of the present day school system where students are routinely "passed through" regardless of whether or not they've mastered the curriculum, the grader was challenged by such advanced math concepts as 80/20 centering. And dealers/sellers are now happily pricing it like any other 6 because most slab buyers these days care only about the label and not the card.

They asked for no qualifications. So essentially the grader thought it was an 8 if it wasn’t for the centering. I like this as someone who doesn’t like qualifiers, I can see the problem a mile away.

The OP link shows an SGC 1. That crease must break through the cardboard nearly completely.

Ebay is doing this really annoying thing now, where direct links to closed items, divert to a different (but similar), open item.

Nobody asked for this service from them...but here it is.
