Here are four Strip Cards I bought a long time ago, all hall-of-famers, and hand-cut.
Auctions end Friday, 10/3, at 10 pm EST [10:00 time-stamp good; 10:01 not]. Bids must be in whole dollar increments. S/H $1 in a pwe, or $5 if you prefer tracking. As Per Lucky Larry's policy with a pwe, I'll split the cost with the buyer if it's lost. I wasn’t sure of the designations, but Ed Hans was nice enough to inform me that these are all W515’s: Lot 1: #4 Dave Bancroft [dog eared, looks like it said PICTURE SERIES on top]. Starting bid: $20 lot 2: #25 Ross Young[s] [worn, trimmed to border, typeset, blue lettering]. Starting bid, Lot 3: #32 George Kelly [no creases, nice condition, 50 written in pencil on b ack, Starting bid, $20. Lot 4: #51 Ray Schalk [dog-eared, no other creases]. Starting bid $20. Thanks Ed for your input and expertise.
I went with W516 for the second two because the subject area is smaller than the first two, and that’s the way they appear in Old Cardboard. The 515 and 516 look otherwise very similar to me; are the numbers different? For Ross Young’s, I went with W516 because of the blue lettering, which is shown on Old Cardboard for 516-2 or 3. What is the tell that they are 515’s? |

W515 came in two sizes. The numbering is identical for the two sets. -1s were smaller. The Bancroft is a -2; the others -1. Without having it in hand, I suspect the "blue: lettering on the Youngs is just faded black. Best of luck with the sales.

These cards are still available, auctions ending 10/3, as stated in the opening thread.
I don't see anything crossed out, so I don't know what to say to that. Thanks. Doug |

Even though it is heavily trimmed, due to the larger size of the player image I believe Youngs card is also a W515-2
