Need Help On These Philadelphia A's Items

Picked up some Philadelphia Athletics items at the Philly Show this past weekend and would appreciate any info about them.

From 1948, it appears they are cut from the Sunday Comics section.

From 1954, they have gummed backs, it says "Moisten Back, Cut Out and Paste on Cardboard"
